Born and raised in England, David is an award-winning artist who works in the classical tradition. He was elected to the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour in 1997. In 1998 he was awarded the Honour Award and A.J. Casson Medal. David is represented by galleries in New York, Washington, Long Beach and Chicago. His paintings hang in corporate and private collections worldwide. In Victoria, he is represented by The Blue Whale Gallery and The Gallery in the Oak Bay Village. He has been featured in International Artist Magazine's Master Painters of the World and in Watercolor Magic and Style at Home. He works in oil, watercolour and etching. "My work is a response to the beauty and simplicity of the things I find around me. In figure and landscape, careful study reveals the undercurrents and rhythms of existence." Recently over 100 of David's paintings were purchased by a collector in the Victoria area forming The Swanwick Collection.

Laurie lives in Victoria, BC, where she attended the Victoria College of Art from 1994 to 1996. She works in oil, acrylic and watercolour. She has shown her paintings in a variety of exhibitions including an ongoing series of two person shows "Ladmore and Ladmore" with her husband David and in group shows as part of The Imagists and is represented by The Blue Whale Gallery. "My recent paintings are a series of oils inspired by the beauty of flowers and stars and the belief that light and love triumph over darkness and loss. My greatest pleasure is when something about the way I see the world resonates with someone else. For me it completes the creative cycle." Laurie's work is also featured in The Swanwick Collection.
