Luke Fair, Willie Seo, Charles Nasby, and Jaedan Leimert at the Fifty Fifty Arts Collective

ESC: Contemporary Art and Technology

Thu. April 11th - Sun. April 28th
This exhibition includes individual works from 3rd and 4th year students at the University of Victoria Visual Arts program; Luke Fair, Willie Seo, Charles Nasby, and Jaedan Leimert.

"Our perspective on computer technology is unique because we were born at the dawn of the digital age. As we witness the transition of analogue systems becoming obsolete to digital, we are able to observe how humans adapt and depend on these new technologies. We have found this parallels with the contemporary art practice as well. While collaborating with these technological inventions, we are attempting to capture and comment on this seemingly infinite segue into a digital world. Ultimately we do not know where this path will lead us, but that makes it all the more important to create works that document this moment in history."
