Jaedan Chayce Laimert at the Fifty Fifty Arts Collective

Through sculpture, painting, and photography, Hollow contemplates themes of materiality, naturalism and the presence of absence. The works are restricted to specific materials to collectively unify the objects, allowing room for internal conversation. Arrangement is of equal importance to the individual pieces.

The exhibition is reductive, reflective and delineates a raw poeticism.

Jaedan Chayce Leimert completed his BFA in Visual Arts from the University of Victoria in 2013, and is now based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
