Madrona Gallery is pleased to present Pulp & Process, an exhibition of contemporary Canadian art on paper.  Artists featured in the show include Meghan Hildebrand, Morgana Wallace, Luke Ramsey,  Megan Dulcie Dill, David Antonides, Shuvinai Ashoona, Tim Pitsiulak and Ningeokuluk Teevee.  The exhibition will celebrate the medium of paper and the diversity of approaches and styles it allows.

Madrona Gallery is pleased to present Morgana Wallace's second solo exhibition, The Elemental. Wallace is a Victoria based artist who creates finely detailed mixed media collages. Each piece is exquisitely assembled from textured papers and water colour painting to create a layered, three dimensional image. Her work features characters and beasts from a broad range of myths and fables, and speaks to the timeless human love of fantasy and magic.

MORGANA WALLACE: AVALERION

August 15 - 29 Integrate Arts Festival

Avalerion will feature Victoria based artist Morgana Wallace's highly detailed mixed media compositions that draw on mythological and fantastical elements and engage the viewer with their dream like complexity.

Morgana creates each piece through a delicate treatment of collage, working with various textures and layers of paper. She also applies gauche to many of her works.

Morgana Wallace has a special place for fantasy and children’s books. In her work she uses water colour, paper collage & mixed media to create striking and soft pieces of mythology. Her pieces tell small pieces of much larger stories with vivid detail.
