Ken Faulks, represented by Mercurio Gallery, is one of Victoria’s most gifted artists and it is with great pleasure that we announce the opening of his show “New Works” by Ken Faulks at the Coast Collective on Wednesday, May 15.

There will be almost 50 new works to savour and indulge in.  Comprised of both plein air and studio work, this year's exhibition is all about oils in Ken's typical juicy, painterly style.  Most of the works are on panel, with the odd canvas as well.   The pieces come in a wide range of sizes from 8” x 10” plein air pieces up to a large 4’ x 6’ studio piece.  "New Works" includes scenes from around lower Vancouver Island and the Victoria area, as well as from Ken's November 2011 painting trip to Alberta.
