The diverse scenery Deborah has encountered from coast to coast has heightened her sense of landscape formation and structural forms, colours and patterns. New acrylic's by Jim McFarland are on display at Morris Gallery. Jim paints his larger works in the studio but is often found painting on site, en plein air, where he can capture the ever changing but real colours and light of the west coast scenery around him.
PAULINE OLESEN
Also featured in May at Morris Gallery are new Fused Glass Artwork and Jewelry by Pauline Olesen. Pauline's work in fused glass reflects travels, cultures and creatures from around the world. She is self taught in this medium experimenting in her Piers Island studio.
