Victoria-based artist, Zoë Kreye, has been producing collaborative public arts projects for the last five years in Berlin, Montreal, New York and Istanbul. In 2009, she completed a Masters of Public Art and New Artistic Strategies from the Bauhaus University Weimar, specializing in public engagement and participatory strategies. She has been working specifically with migrant communities in Germany; exploring how public art initiatives can combat isolation and support social change. Zoe's talk will be an overview of her work as it has developed over the last three years and its relation to what is happening within the public art scene in Berlin.
Event is free of charge and open to the public.
