Peter is teaching a Video Art Workshop at VISA on November 13 & 14 and in January he will be offering a 12-week video art course in conjunction with MediaNet (where he is Executive Director). Peter has an BFA in Cinema (1982) and an MFA in Open Media from Concordia University, Montreal (1987). For 10 years he worked as the National Director of the Independent Media Arts Alliance, a national association of film co-ops and video art centres. Peter also taught Film Production at Concordia for six years. He has also taught video art and the history of comic book art at the University of Victoria. Peter has made over 20 short films and videos. He is also a musician, having played with several bands since 1980, notably Ray Condo & his Hardrock Goners, the Crazy Rhythm Daddies, the Howlin Hound Dogs and most recently as Slim Sandy. He also publishes an on-line comic strip called Roach Town.
