Victoria Emerging Awards at The Avenue Gallery

Opening Night Aug 19   6 -8 pm   On Aug 19 from 6 -  8 pm, The Avenue Gallery is pleased to host the opening night reception for the inaugural Victoria Emerging Art Awards, a new initiative of Victoria Emerging Art Gallery. On this exciting night, we will be showcasing 33 works by 11 young emerging artists that have been selected by a well-rounded jury from the Victoria art community.  There will be sculpture, painting and photography on exhibition, and yes, each piece is priced at $200 (tax included) on this night only.   Ultimately it is up to the public to vote the top three winners so join us for a fun night of celebrating fresh talent...every votes counts.   The following day and for the rest of the week 33 additional pieces will be available for purchase as follows: First place artist $800 Second place artist $600   Third place artist $400  Eight finalists $300      Preview the collection in the gallery Thursday Aug 19 10:00 - 5:30 pm    _________________________________________________________
