Ellen Moffat practice spans multi-media instalations of text,image and sound public art and cultural work. Her audio projects use polyphonic composition spatialized and spatialed sound in experimental environments to explore cognitive and perceptual questions,acoustics and technology. She uses structure,chance,fragmentation and high-loow technology and aesthetics as her process and vocabulary,focusing on relations of the collective and the individual, and notions of place,space and time.
